Question 1

What is the commission process?

Accepted Answer

The process begins with this form submission. I'll then reach out to discuss your vision in more detail, provide a quote, and create concept

sketches. Once approved, I'll begin work on your mosaic, sending progress updates along the way. The final piece will be delivered in the agreed-upon timeframe.

Question 2

How long does a commission take?

Accepted Answer

The timeline varies depending on the size and complexity of the project, as well as my current workload. Small pieces may take 4-6 weeks, while larger installations can take 3-6 months. I'll provide a specific timeline estimate during our initial consultation.

Question 3

Do you require a deposit?

Accepted Answer

Yes, I typically require a 50% deposit to begin work, with the remaining balance due upon completion. For larger projects, we may establish a payment schedule with multiple installments.

Question 4

Can I request a change during the process?

Accepted Answer

Minor adjustments can be made during the design phase at no additional cost. Once production begins, significant changes may incur additional fees. I'll always communicate clearly about any potential adjustments to cost or timeline.
